I chose to study audio because I'm passionate about listening to, creating, mixing and playing music therefore my media use consists of watching and listening to music on YouTube, curating playlists on iTunes, following artists on Snapchat and Facebook, researching lyrics on Genius and mixing music in Serato DJ.
Growing up listening to mainly Hip-hop and RnB, I have utilised media that is available to me and find myself getting always trying to keep up with new track released everyday and updating my playlist. The thought of knowing that there are so many tracks out there that are amazing but I may never come around to listening to, drives me insane. These media platforms however make it easier to follow artists that I listen to which helps me stay on top of new material that they 'drop' and be able to listen to it and add to my playlist if it passes my strict criteria.

Wikipedia for me is one of the most important sites for never missing a single track released by an artist, users can simply type in the artist name in the search field and it will display almost everything from their early life to the most important tool for me which is the discography article.
